Glory Rank Rep Suggestion

So I understand that Glory tank is supposed to be hard to get, and prestigious. When you reach a certain rank you feel like you have earned it rather than just been given it, but the way the game plays at the moment I feel it’s damn near impossible to get anywhere when you face a stacked team and your team consists of some scrubs who have never entered the world of conceptive crucible. So my feedback to fix this issue would be a simple one, nothing over the top. Glory rank should reward individual play as well as team play. How do you do this you ask? Simple. Dependant on your finishing position would depend on how much Glory you would win or loose. Let’s say you carry a team to victory, you end up top scorer on your team, you should be rewarded with the most Glory, let’s say x3 normal gains. If you finish bottom and were carried to victory then you should receive significantly less Glory, let’s say x 0.7. Dependant on your individual play you should be rewarded more Glory rep. Now on the other hand, if you loose (yes it happens to us all). If you are the person dragging the team down by dying over and over then you should be punished, you are probably the reason your team lost! Whereas if you are pouring your heart and soul into the game but didn’t quite get the win you shouldn’t be punished to the degree of the person that caused the loss. Similar to how I suggested you getting more Glory rep for doing well, you should loose less for doing well on the loosing side. Obviously I want glory to still feel rewarding for when you reach a certain level but if you are permanently put with a team that can’t win, then your going to give up and not play anymore. I would just like a way to balance the rep based on individual performance rather than just being given a slap in the face! I know you receive more/less rep for getting a win/loss streak which should still be implemented, but I’ll leave it in the hands of bungie whether or not they do anything with this suggestion. Edit 1: I am aware that in update 1.2.3 changes were made to “balance” the glory rank [quote]Glory Loss Streaks have been re-tuned to be less punishing over time. Consecutive losses now decrease the Rank Points lost instead of increasing.[/quote] By the looks of things Bungie want to help dampen the loss of rep when losing multiple times. Which is a step in the right direction and also tells me that changes can be made to how rep gain/loss work. Unfortunately it still doesn’t address the issue of how well YOU play, if you are playing solo or even playing with 2/3 players you could still end up with a scrub on your team who you have to either carry to a win or they drag you down for a loss. I am not expecting miracles out of match made teams I just hope that Bungie can see where I am coming from. Hopefully a community manager will see it and pass it up. I know changes can be made to the system and I/we can have a balance system which correctly awards rep based on an individuals ability. TLDR: Gain or loose Glory rep based on individual performance rather than a set amount for a win/loose Bungie have made a move in the right direction, let’s HOPE they can do more
