I like the concept of Tlaloc. It was an exotic that a Warlock used that saved their super for the resurrection build. Since they sat on their super for a long time the gun fit in nicely with that build.
I mainly use a Sunbreaker Titan and I don't use my super unless absolutely necessary because I use the sunfire furnace to recharge my thermite grenade as fast as possible. A gun powered by a full, unused super would be ideal for my build.

There is an armor piece that has that effect. Recharges abilities faster when super is charged.
-
Would also like that because i always save celestial in strikes.
-
Sounds good, I'd like to be able to infuse it to a power weapon.
-
Super energy as ammo would be interesting too.
-
There should be a Heavy Trace Rifle that gets powered by your super. It wouldn‘t use ammo but instead super energy and change its elemental damage to fit your subclass

Tlaloc was a good idea for a weapon, and I'm surprised we didn't see more using similar mechanics. I always thought we'd see a heavy/power weapon which used chunks of your super energy (whether it was full or not) as ammo. D1 had some really unique exotic ideas, and D2 just went backwards on them.

maybe draws on and feeds from unused super like the warlock grenade. not always but has a secondary fire mode when scoped in adds your element to it .
-
Really a nice thought. I like that idea.

But this is Destiny 2, we don't have "builds" for subclasses only trees and all our exotics work on every armor set/subclass, the only difference is some exotics work better with something like the Nezarac's Sin. Would be nice to bring back weapons that elicit a unique play style, very good in certain conditions like having super. What do we have now? Risk Runner- Hope enemies in crucible have arc on. On strikes without a lot of arc? switch to the Graviton. Would be nice for a very big mixup in how super trees work, exotics work and feel, and new exotics that allow playstyles like the Mega DoT Sunsinger Warlock with the top perk on the last column with the Thorn.

I was hoping that either Sunshot or Graviton Lance would have a perk like that. They both fill the same role of massive explosions for add control, yet are just diffferent elements and weapon types. Sunshot could build up AoE damage as super builds, maybe slowly getting brighter to indicate different tiers of damage.
