First things first: I get it, y’all like Graviton Lance. It’s really good and feels great to use, etc. I’m glad y’all are having fun, but understand that I don’t have fun anymore when I’m forced to use that gun to compete. Inb4 “It’s how exotics are supposed to be, quit crying LOL git güd” The attitudes are becoming more cancerous than the iron fist that the gun rules with right now. I’m not sure what can be done about the gun now that it’s final form has been realized, but I want to say that before all these exotic weapon masterworks came, PvP was in a state of bliss where I could use mostly ANY weapon I wanted and there was a level playing field that rewarded a skilled hand and one’s familiarity with a weapon. HAVING to use the Lance isn’t fun, but there is one thing that’s worse: Getting matched against a team of 4+ as a solo player. I honestly don’t know how much longer I can handle the Crucible being a place where I have to go into QUICKPLAY with a full team trying our hearts out to get the some Ws. I heard tell of a plan to introduce fireteam-based matchmaking but I never found out if that was confirmed or not. If it’s not confirmed, it needs to be. And if it is, we need it ASAP.
