Me and my friend were grinding out competitive for the Redrix's Claymore pulse rifle when we matched against a 4 stack who proceeded to boot me and my friend from the game, whole house internet went off (DDoS) Why have I been banned for 'Leaving' When it's not me it's the idiots playing Bungie's game. Sort it out.
-
Working as intended. Just play another game. There ya go simple
-
Call your ISP and report the attack. What happened is a crime and if you report it quickly enough, the people who do it can and will be caught and at the very least will lose their service and be flagged as a problem for other providers in their area.
-
Report to Sony. Don’t waste your time posting here. ISP attacks are illegal and if I were you I’d make a very angry phone call to someone to see it through that those little shits never game again (at least not on PS4).
-
use a vpn.
-
Don't expect it to change, we've literally had booters since the beginning of D1 trials. It's rare if you don't get booted at least twice while grinding pvp on the weekend.
-
This isn’t going away anytime soon and will probably happen more and more frequently until the franchises end. We are approaching five years of this and it’s just become a part of the game that bungie won’t touch. If bungie progressively issues permanent bans on the first offense (IP, console) as much as there are these attacks, it wouldn’t happen thousands of times per day. It’s like someone getting robbed and having the police tell the robber that they’re not allowed to rob anyone again for 2-4 weeks and take away the stuff they stole then give it back to them after 2-4 weeks. This type of pussery is perfectly ok with bungie.
-
Another reason why you don’t play p2p crucible !
-
Yeah it's happened to me once or twice... both in PvP and on Mars oddly enough, It suks that people can't win in fair so they have to resort to network manipulation... Personally I think it's a pretty scummy move

Bearbeitet von GrundleBeans: 6/20/2018 7:01:54 PMBanning from Competitive only happens if you've done a lot of quitting already and you have been suspended before as warnings. You were likely just suspended, which lasts only 30 mins. The system treats any left match, regardless of the circumstances or reasons, as quitting a match. It cannot tell the difference and Bungie has neither the support staff or time to have staff individually reverse every loss when someone claims being innocent. Your best option is to report the players of the team you last matched with for cheating and let Bungie investigate. If they find any evidence of network manipulation, they will suspend or ban those players.
-
I agree. Hasn’t happened to me but they need to fix it. One time I left probably a second early before the other team got their 6th round giving them the win, and I got warned. Obviously that’s my fault and I should wait but thy need their system to be able to detect sat a voluntary leave (leaving intentionally via Ghost) or leaving involuntarily (via DDoS, Power Outage, etc.) Now if you have to leave mid March because something comes up irl, whether it have been planned or unplanned, we kind of just have to deal with that.

If everyone stopped playing Competitive and Trials they would have to do something about it. #BoycottPVP
-
Just checked your history. You haven't played competitive lately, stop lying

Bearbeitet von Jericho_Wolf99: 6/20/2018 3:53:37 AMYea bungie doesn't care and people who have never had it happen to them will denounce it ever happens. Also ten bucks says those who denounce it have probably ddos people. I have had it happen multiple times except I don't even get loaded in it gives me and error code and puts me back into que and that's for quickplay. If you have to ddos to play a game (basically cheating/hacking) your nothing but a loser with a self esteem issue and a major ego.
-
Hahaha, im not laughing at you, im laughing at bungies incompetence catching up with them again.
-
Did you learned the lesson uninstalling?
-
Banned for leaving one game huh?
-
Well the system can't tell that you were force out by another player. What you should do is report the players who were involved so bungie can investigate the accused. If they find the right amount of evidence to prove it then they can do something about. As of right now we can only assume you got disconnected.
-
How do you know your internet was attacked?
-
Increased security on Bungie's end for quiters. Oh, also the undetectable method dosers use to help you get banned. It's all in play here and working as intended.
-
It marks you as a quitter and if you don't complete enough matches before this happens it gives about 30 mins suspension....bs, happened about 3 days or so ago to me. We were dummying a 4 stack 4 - 1, and half through 5th round I got ddosed
-
If this is the first time it’s happened you were given a warning, not a ban. Report the attack and go back to playing.
-
You weren't banned, you received a warning. Go back and play, nub
-
Because the algorithm is a simple one. It simply marks you as a quitter if you leave before a match ends. It doesn’t have the smarts to know how or why you left it just notes that you left.
