Hello, my name is Kyle Bremer, but you can just call me MallardMan27. I just wanted to say thank you to bungie for (unintentionally) helping me out during my hard times. So half a year ago my father passed away due to heart failure. It was November 26th and I was running something known as the "KLM Marathon" with my father, I was running 10K and he was running half a marathon. When he was just one kilometer away from the finish fell victim to heart failure and died instantly. When I arrived at the finish all I could do was look for him, but I couldn't find him anywhere. I got a call from my mom telling me that I was going to be brought to the hospital. I figured my father just collapsed like he did in 2 previous races, but as you can tell that turned out otherwise. For the first two months I was stuck between a state of shock in which I would pretend it never happened and just randomly crying. But while I was in that state of shock, I'd mostly play destiny 2 to help me forget what happened for a while. I was a fan since the taken king since that's the first game I got with my ps4, and the games would always help me if I had a bad day. After a month I also developed some suicidal thoughts and anxiety. I would get panic attacks. Any where at any time I would just freak out and my chest just started hurting so much. Whenever this happened at home, I would turn on my ps4 and play some games (mostly destiny 2) to try and calm myself down. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for helping me out

Well done on making this post, hope Destiny continues to helps you in your recovery from the trauma. I lost my own father at age 11, in traumatic circumstances. Grief at the loss of a parent is very tough.
