I love Destiny. I really do. The worlds, the creatures, the combat, it's easily my favorite game, and has been since late 2014. However, I think that the main problem with it right now is that Destiny 2 lacks so much that we had in D1. Here's a pretty damn good list of the problems I have with the game at the moment.
-For starters, Strike modifiers. Literally copy paste the strike modifiers from D1 and put them into the heroic playlist, and everyone will be happy.
-Then, Exotic quests. Yes, I know, there were the 3 world quests, and those were fun, but Curse of Osiris had none. All the exotics were locked behind engrams. And, there was no exotic for the raid lair. The exotics feel "Meh" now because of their lackluster power, but also because of the methods they're obtained by. Saying "I got it from an engram" just isn't cool.
-Crucible as a whole took a huge leap backwards from D1 to D2. I'll explain some ideas I have for crucible. 1. Quickplay 6v6, Competitive 4v4. 2. JUST LET US CHOOSE WHAT MODE WE WANT PLS.
-Raid gear kinda sucks. Remember all the raid gear from D1? And then remember how much cooler it got after Age of Triumph? The Raid gear from D2 Just kinda isn't unique and it isn't powerful. I know they added raid mods, but for me, that isn't enough. The Gear it'self, not the mods you put on in, has to take a step up.
-EVERVERSE. Bungie, it's so damn obvious. Eververse is a cash grab. All the cool gear is behind it, for example. the Eververse armor sets for season 2 look more like a vex themed armor set than you can get on Mercury, WHICH IS CONTROLLED BY THE VEX. Just remove eververse, or at least make it like D1, with only emotes and cosmetics. Make the cool stuff available in game.
-Lastly, Lore. The new lore system of "Inspecting" is honestly a step back. The grimore cards were a problem, yes, but that's because they weren't in the game, not because the system was bad. All Bungie had to do was copy paste the grimore cards into the game in an extra menu tab, and everyone would be happy.

Bearbeitet von SLOOOT_APOCALYPS: 4/23/2018 3:36:17 AMHeres some insight: -Bungie had to meet activision's deadline. Publisher wants game now or breach contract. Contract ending and publisher(activision) owns a rival game(call of duty) Thats what happened. Contracts over by the way as of oct 2017 (the year without a Halloween on destiny).

Except curse of Osiris did have weapon quests...in fact eleven of them with 1 being a full blown quest line. They may not be exotics but they were weapon quests.

I do agree with what your saying. Hopefully this expansion fixes the problem with exotics not feeling powerful enough. I really wish exotics were added to the prestige raid loot pool. Acrius was kind of a raid shotgun but it was the only one. It was super good? Why can’t we see weapons like this in the raid lairs too.

Raid mods should be built into the armor not take up the mod slot, i would rather have grenade cooldown(specially now after the buff) or reload speed/recoil mods I think armor should have 2 mod slots tbh, and bring back d1 armor perks(carry more ammo, increases nade throw, melee atack speed, ect) but with mods. My set up would be Helm- solar grenade cooldown, increased super energy from killing minions Hands- increased reload speed for kinetic, increased melee attack speed Chest- reduce kinetic recoil, increased carry ammo for kinetic weapon Feet- solar grenade cooldown, increased carry ammo for power weapon Bond- increased handling with power weapons, increased reload speed with power weapons
