Why are some people praising Bungie for the update?
I don't understand why anyone would praise them for literally just going back towards Destiny 1. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it doesn,t deserve any praise because it's how the game should have been at launch. Celebrating them for saying they are gonna add ghosts, sparrows and other rewards back into the endgame instead of to the eververse is part of the problem, this update is not even close to enough, it's only the tinest step in the right direction.

We can't change the launch of the game, it sucked, but NOW it's starting to get better. It's far from perfect, bar none. I was hoping that these changes would come with CoO, they didn't. Then the Dawning happened, still no change. New Year, change gets announced. Slow going, but still there. My hope since launch is, in the event that Destiny 2 disappointed me before last December, to see Destiny 2 become better by the Year 2 Expansion later this year. Similar to Destiny 1 and it's slow climb to a better state. Sue us for having a glimmer of hope for a franchise we want to see do better.
