Did the traveler visit nessus? I ask, cause if not, did the vex terraform it? It has plant life, and some reptilian birdies. I know it's now considered a machine world (98% conversion rate or something like that), but did they do the planting and tilling on what is supposed to be just a giant rock in space, or does it have a spot the traveler had touched?
Edit: Any theories as to why they would terraform it? What purpose does that serve to their convergence?

<Considering how Vex terraforming can change the way a planet feels (I.E. Mercury reverting back to a lifeless rock), I wouldn't be totally surprised if a Vex Machine World actually had life because of the conversion. Nessus, IMO, represents the beauty of Convergence. No the Traveler did not touch it because Nessus is not in the inner system nor is it a moon of Jupiter.>

Theres a scannable somewhere on nessus that says the trees are of vex origin and they contain some kind if vex energy

To my knowledge the furthest body the Traveler touched was Io. Nessus is beyond even the kuiper belt.

Bearbeitet von KidSixXx: 3/21/2018 4:35:10 PMThe nature of Nessus's terraforming is currently unknown, but the others are correct in noting that the planetoid had undergone Vex conversion until something interrupted it. That event was probably the crash of the Exodus Black. All of the recent activity going on Nessus now is very recent and triggered by Failsafe's reactivation at the hands of our bumbling and beloved Hunter vanguard, Cayde-6. Cayde-6's skullduggery alerted Vex defenses which in turn caused Failsafe to re-initialize and her broadcasts alerted the House of Dusk that something worth scavenging was planetside. The Red Legion and the Cabal Empire view Nessus as just another fuel source for the Leviathan. Whatever changed the nature and climate of the centaur, it wasn't from earth and it wasn't the Traveler.
