Antiope-D
I know that getting great weapons should be a grind at times. I ground for Sins of the Past for a couple of months with clan engrams and raids. I finally got it. However, I have played the game for over 250 hours and I'm at over level 200 with the Gunsmith according to Charlemagne. In this time, I have acquired every exotic drop for my hunter and warlock and am near completing the collection with my titan as well. In this time, I have not received one Antiope-D. I know that the gun has a certain drop rate from the gunsmith that may be increased by him having it in his rotation at the time, but I should have received it over 4 times now assuming a 1% drop rate and if I were to get 2 weapon drops from the gunsmith. If I only got one weapon each time, I would have gotten it twice. Heck, I have even gotten exotics from the gunsmith before but no Antiope! However, if all items have an equal drop rate chance, I'm sure this is higher than a 1% drop rate. I play trials every single weekend and getting rolled by others with Antiope-D when I've got the Mida Mini-Tool/Atalanta-D is extremely frustrating. Please advise if there is potentially an error with the Gunsmith that is known or what I can do.

I understand what your saying though - the hand cannon old fashioned has never dropped for me and I've been waiting for a long time. Other players report busting 2 or 3 per week. Something is wrong I'm guessing with how the drop system works. It would not surprise me at all with all of the other bugs in this game.

Took me long time too, homie. I feel your pain. This is coming from someone who dismantles 99% of powerful rewards for all 3 characters bcuz they r more than 99% useless. Need 335 chest & mark for titan, all I get r helmets & arms. Hunter has been stuck at 334 forever needing 1 pc of gear & never gets it but has 335 of every damn gear pc. ever bcuz all I get r 1's I don't need. 1 need a # of 335 autos & scouts to boost last few but get grenade launchers & pulses which r useless a.f. cuz most suck & the few decent 1's have been peak #'s for ages. Literally grind for dismantles aka shards. Same horrendous garbage every time & it's beyond frustrating. Even faction rallies ,which I enjoy, r useless drops mostly . I already cashed in a ton of tokens for d.o. & all I wanted was newer shader cuz I have none & every single pkg was old or no shaders. I have pure shit rng & it makes the game so much less fun. I don't mind the grind if my chances r a bit better, but this simply angers me. Tess, miss neverworse gives me nothing but ghosts with shit perks, shit shaders, shit ships or shit sparrows with shit perks or the super useless ornaments that r far less attractive than the original aka useless. The few I'd actually like? Nah. They don't drop just like eververse gear, the shader I want & exotic ghosts (I have zero & played since day 1). My few exotic sparrows have shit perks aside from maybe 1. A few exotic ships, mostly crap. I totally feel your pain & hope your luck improves.

Even if it had 8% drop rate for every package you open you would still have the same 92% chance of not receiving the item on your 1000th package as you had on your first package. So you could open 5000 packages and never have your game roll land in the 8% box, because the 92% chance far outnumbers the 8%.
