I don’t think it’s a matter of being “good” or “Evil.” with guardians from our point of view we are the hero defending the last city and its people. But now imagine if you will the exact game bit your playing from the perspective of a fallen suddenly we become the villain. Every race in Destiny had their Motives for what they do it’s just a matter of who is stronger. History is written by the victor after all.

See the traveler in a way is chaotic neutral. It helps us but it has its own agenda

Hard to say we are the villain when it comes to the Fallen. We don’t know how first contact went.

Seeing as how the fallen beloved we stole the Traveler from them (though they may have learned otherwise now.) I’m guessing it didn’t go well.

No but that’s wrong. The Traveler left them back in their own system to fall to the Darkness, to have their own Collapse they called The Whirlwind. They went after it in the hopes to regain their former glory. We aren’t sure when they got here but it seems they came after the Collapse. First contact isn’t recorded but there is zero mention of any peaceful contact. The Fallen, in what little mention they make, said they came to get the Traveler back but we denied them. That’s it, zero mention as to what happened. So any blaming or finger pointing as to who did what is total guesswork, with no support.
