Whenever I try to load up destiny 1 or 2
I get a message saying

Destiny servers are not available. Dismiss this message to try again.

It isnt giving me an error code so Im not sure what to do
Has this happened to anybody?

Yep, no dedicated servers and a prehistoric engine will do that HAVE FUN😃😃👍🏻

Yea I've been having this continued problem since yesterday evening. Try logging off of console. Turn console off. Log in and out on PlayStation.com or xbox twice then fire up console. See if that works. I've reset modem and router. Opened up ports for forwarding. Still can't get in Currently reinstalling game because best guess is the game files got corrupted. Also if your using any 3rd party apps for gear management I'd log out and uninstall those till problem subsides.
