I myself have not understood why so many want to continue to have this discussion. It’s another theory to try to explain how everything is here. None of them are definitively the correct explanation. They ALL require a certain amount of faith in the unknown.
But around this same mountain we go, when the insults stop, nobody knows......

Not all uncertainty is equal. I don't know for certain whether or not it's going to rain tomorrow. I also don't know whether or not I'll get shot tomorrow. That doesn't make it equally logical for me to leave home carrying an umbrella or wearing Kevlar.

Others are free to hold whatever beliefs they wish. However, the purpose of science is to draw conclusions when they can be drawn. The fact of the matter is, from a purely objective standpoint, evolution has more supporting evidence and fewer assumptions than does any other explanation for the origin of life. You seem to be implying that debating an idea means insisting that everyone agree with you on it, and that an idea isn't worth debating unless it can be proven beyond any shadow of a doubt. If so, you are wrong on both counts.

You're the one using analogies now, so I'll play along. You don't need a complete puzzle to have an idea of what the picture is. If one puzzle has half the pieces missing, and the other has three quarters of the pieces missing, pieces connected incorrectly, and several pieces from other puzzles mixed in, which do you imagine is a more accurate representation of the actual completed puzzle? As for my other comment, it's one thing to allow people to believe whatever they want, but quite another to permit fiction to masquerade as fact. If you don't believe in evolution because you simply don't want to, I can't stop you. However, if you disagree because you don't think the science is all there, you need to pull your head out of your ass. There is no question in the scientific community that evolution happens. The only unknowns are the specifics.

Dodging would be ignoring everything the other person just said and saying "Nice dodge. Have a good life, man." I pointed out the difference between "I don't care what the facts say, evolution isn't real." and "The facts say evolution isn't real." One is a person's opinion to which they are entitled. The other is a demonstrably false statement.

I never said you said that. Once again, you're implying that something must be proven absolutely to be considered fact, which is simply not true. There is no such thing as absolute proof. If you applied this same logic to everything, you would never be able to do anything. Every day of your life, you have weighed the uncertainties surrounding certain things and determined them to be acceptable. For anyone evaluating it on a purely objective basis, evolution falls well within that threshold.
