Give us a reason to call in sick!
We used to call in sick or take a vacation day to play D1 when new content or updates came.
Who is going to take time off for new emblems next week? Really ?!
What is the matter with you guys?! Give us a reason to play! Damn it, give us a reason to call in sick! Speed up the changes that might improve this game in a meaningful way.
Edit: my son tried to pull a sicky from school the other day to play the new Fortnite release. Did the sore throat thing, even had a half decent cough going. Almost brought a tear to my eye, felt kind proud of the kid. Reminded me of that lost Destiny feeling.
Edit: for those that asked, no I did not let him stay home. But I did let him play way past his normal time allowed after school that day/night

I'm not saying they are worth skipping work for but I am interested in your feedback. :)

9 AntwortenThey don't want to. At this point, it should be obvious that they don't want Destiny to survive. If they did, they would have brought back everything that made Destiny 1 great. They would have given us content. Instead, they gave us a "Roadmap" that won't fix any of the complaints we have about the worst sequel in the history of electronic media. Then, they said the "Roadmap" would be delayed, but they've got some emblems for us, when no one asked for emblems. It seems obvious that they want out of their contract. It looks like they are sabotaging the game every chance they get. If I were Activision, I'd probably threaten legal action at this point.

No kidding I actually took day off when everything in D1 dropped. D2 dropped I took the day. Because I was actually sick and home. Nothing worthwhile in the next 6 month roadmap that will change that.

yeah. i remember doing that in destiny 1. every major DLC - i would only work on monday that week. then take tues, wed, thurs off using vacation time. it would just be a grind-fest all week. for Destiny 2, i wouldn't even THINK about using vacation time. didn't even play the DLC until the weekend. and probably won't for any upcoming DLC's ..... if i even get them. the game is just not as good/ not as fun to justify taking time off.

Fortnite puts destiny to shame, far more loot, far more content, you can trade, the new hover board makes the game so much more fun The new weapons are also DOPE!!! I love how often they drop NEW events/skins/weapons Most of my friends play fortnite BR, they finally got fortnite save the world cuz it’s 50% off and they couldn’t believe how much fun the game is. ($20 for more content than D1&2 combined) Fortnite BR is somewhat fun, I’m excited to see fornites pvp grow. there will be more pvp modes. They’re even talking about a racing mode cuz of the new hover board lol! People are building awesome race tracks

My Destiny 2 game play is virtually over , currently. Was down to a Saturday night with a few beer & a bottle of wine to relax & do the milestones. Been playing Halo Master Chief Collection , grinding achievements & playing its p v p recently. Logged into Destiny 2 tonight ( after some beer & wine & playing Big Team Battle , Swat . Halo 4 & MULTIPLE GAME TYPES ) Search for a quick p v p game , get dropped into a game in progress with two player AFK , leave after a minute. Search again - "Supremacy" - instantly leave & exit Destiny 2. I honestly don't think i missed more than 3 days of Destiny in its run up till Dastardly 2. Destiny's p v p wasn't perfect , with all the meta's , but at least it was emotional (Rage is an emotion BTW , Felwinter's anyone !) P v E is absolutely killed by no random weapon rolls , no strike pacific weapons & (exasperated) no raid pacific weapons. Shame on you Bungie ! Sorry guys drifted a bit off topic there ! When HALO 3 was released, i drove my son to a different county early morning to pick up our Master Chief Legendary edition before i dropped him off to school. I simply couldn't resist calling in a sick day. Destiny's release , i did the same. Funny thing is , after playing the beta for Destiny 2 , i went to work on release day.

Ahh man I miss that too. I remember bowing out of work multiple times during the course of d1 . Age of triumph anyone ... Emblems are not end game loot . Seriously it’s pretty simple we want impactful loot that changes either your loadout or how you play the game . Emblems won’t get me playing the nightfall anymore. Now if there was an auto rifle that is similar to the necrocasim “for example” that only can be earned from a drop during the prestige nightfall I’m in . Without a doubt I’ll grind that nightfall 24//7 to get it . An emblem .... forget about it. Who’s making these decisions at bungie . What happened to the developer who always put the fans first. I know they are gone but it’s hard to let go .
