Damn. I dont buy any 343 games, but I chose 343. Simply due to the fact that either Bungie got the EA bug or they got shafted by Activision. Even then, after playing through Destiny 2 I felt zero drive to grind. They took multiple steps back from Destiny. Destiny 2 on release not only had almost no variety in end game content, but you couldnt even play mid game content without the daily Ikora missions. The strike playlist was and still is unbearable. I stopped playing D2 after getting the arms dealer 4 times in a row. I only came back for the DLC. Which by the way was good. However, the 10-15$ price tag (i havent checked the price since pre-ordering) was way too much. We got "The largest patrol yet" which now that i think about it, the infinite forest is really reminiscent of No Man's Sky. The final boss was cool cinematically, but gameplay wise sucked. The strikes were just rehashed story missions. Loot is STILL locked behind engrams. Single use shaders exist. They took the "exotics have no unique capabilities" problem from D1 and instead of fixing it they just drained creativity from some and poured it into others. The crucible in D2 was done "well". The crucible can be fun. If you are using a select few weapons. Most weapons are useless. Oh and remember private matches? They are only just preparing to bring those back. But the biggest problem, is that Bungie doesn't do anything. I dont know if they dont care. But i knw they dont try. Edit: Very TL:DR
