Man I've been asking for skill-based match-making for a long time. Like why should I and my fireteam, who none of us have gotten a 7 win card in Trials be pared up with "23 flawless, 362 trials wins, 873 trials wins, & 15 flawless" Stuff like that deters me from even attempting trials anymore. I have perfected every other part of this game, I have completed the prestige Leviathan 16 times. But I cannot win more than two matches of trials in a row. The highest I have ever been was four matches won and then we got our third loss. And some could argue and say that it is the fireteam that you go with or you or just a poor player. But I have won 131 competitive matches based off of my Emblem that tracks that. My fireteam that I go with typically we do fairly well and can win a few matches in a row. And even whenever I try to get different fireteams together and go through trials, typically results in the same thing. I have never gone to 7 when card because of how ridiculous the matchmaking is. How can you pair me up someone who's never been through to even the five win checkpoint and match make me with someone who's been Flawless 20 or 30 times? There needs to be a better system of matchmaking. They should be able to look at your stats and try to pair you up with people who you are closely matched up with. Though I can't guarantee and say that there will always be somebody that out there that you paired up with that doesn't have a slight bit better advantage over you, but I would much rather see me paired up with somebody who hasn't won a seven card when stretch, than someone that has gone flawless numerous times. Because as many people that we have playing trials every weekend, surely I can get paired up with somebody who hasn't been Flawless numerous times in a row.
