Hoping for help from Bungie
I have found no way to contact Bungie directly so this is my only hope. My disc drive in my Ps4 has stopped working and unfortunately I do not have the money to fix it right now with a 3 month old at home and my wife not working. I have purchased literally ALL DLC content for Destiny 1 through the PS store, just no the base vanilla game, which I have on disc. I can no longer play the game because the disc drive is broken. The PS Store will not allow me to download the Digital version of D1, even though I have the disc and ALL DLC content digitally. I reached out to PlayStation, and their only solution offered was a 20% discount on Destiny: The Collection, which would mean $63 still for a game I have already purchased everything (at full price, on first release) for the game. I found this offer a bit insulting. They only suggested to reach out to Bungie to see what they can do.
Any help would be appreciated!

2 AntwortenBungie has no access to give people licenses for either PS or XB. Sorry guardian, as harsh as this may be, this is not Bungie's fault that your drive burnt out, I mean at best it is Sony's ... at worst, mechanical things fail. There is no even remote code they could give you for the base game digitally as there is no base game digitally on any of the stores, even if they wanted to. Your only option is to go with the Destiny the Collection. Even if you purchased a new disc or whatnot it would still require that disc to work in the drive, so you'd still be out of luck. You are just going to have to suck it up and spend the $$ if you want to keep playing the game. It sucks but it has happened to us all which is why a lot of the devs are moving to digital only delivery. At least that way, if your hard drive fails you can always redownload it. Your only other option is to find a friend who has the digital base game plus collection and have him/her gameshare with you by setting their home console as your home console. This is not a feature supported by Bungie and is not always 100% effective but it might be an option. Not to play the little devil on your shoulder, but are you sure the drive burning out actually BURNT out and wasn't your wife saying ... "Get off the game :) "
