Why do so many people use YouTube videos to get their points across?
Can no one think for themselves anymore?
Does everyone tell you what your opinions are?

it's possible to share opinions with others, you know? So instead of making his own video he just stated a video of someone else who articulated his thoughts on the matter in a better way then he could, you know not being a content creator an all!
-
It's much better for the community if we get behind others ideas when we agree with them instead of trying to make the same point 100 times individually,
It's much better for the community if we get behind others ideas when we agree with them instead of trying to make the same point 100 times individually,
There is absolutely no difference

Some people have a far better way to properly address and articulate ones thoughts into words and actual sentences. It's like a representation. Everyone has the same idea or feeling, but one person can get the point across much better than the rest of them. In this case, Houndish. I could be entirely wrong, but hey it's a possibility.

People still use this comment? Jeeze, get some originality yourself instead of spewing the same “YTs suck and you can’t think for yourself” line that every other loser uses.
-
I didn’t say YT’s suck I asked why people used links instead of words. Generally, videos and such are used to back up or validate ones own argument, but all I ever see here is folks make a post with a title (maybe a sentence or two) and a link.
-
Linking a video is easier then writing out a 12 page monologue. That’s why. Super simple really, everyone here hates reading walls of texts.
-
You’re completely missing the point. Every idea doesn’t have to be a wall of text.
-
You miss the point. Ppl can post what they want, stop bitching
-
Never once did I say OP shouldn’t be allowed to post this. I asked why OP used a YouTube video to speak for him. Reading comprehension is bad
-
Lmao. The irony is strong in this one. I told you stop bitching, which you clearly did. Still are apparently.
-
Clearly you aren’t smart enough to understand anything I’ve said. There is a bit of irony here considering you are the one acting like a bitch. I don’t give a flying -blam!- what’s in the video or even what OPs original point is. I would just like to know why so many people are too dumb to get their points across without a YouTube video. Now, since I count you among those imbeciles, please by all means post a link to a YouTube video that expresses how you feel now.
-
Muted for being as sharp as a marble
Why do so many people use YouTube videos to get their points across? Can no one think for themselves anymore? Does everyone tell you what your opinions are?
Just -blam!-ing stop with this tired tripe. Stop acting like YTers are the only with original ideas or don't offer differing perspectives on a given topic, one's that viewers mat not have considered. You're argument is also lazy. You're attacking the source, rather than the thoughts or ideas.
-
I’m not attacking anything except the fact that people use YouTube videos instead of actually speaking for themselves. I didn’t watch the video and I don’t care to so I have no idea what the arguments are, but I didn’t say anything about the content. All I did was ask why people use video links instead of words.
-
What’s wrong with using a YouTube video that expresses your opinions? Why did you jump to the conclusion that I watched this video without having my own opinions on D2 and posted it onto this forum? The answer is is because I found that this video shared my same opinions on the game to the letter. Some people prefer watching a video over reading. If a YouTube video shares the same opinions that I have on the matter, why would I bother reiterate it again? When I can just post the video and leave my additional commentary at the bottom.
-
It’s lazy Are you 100% sure the video maker shares your opinions or did he give them to you?
-
Hahaha! Yep. I stayed up late last night scripting, producing, and editing this video with Houndish. I let him take all the credit and pay. I just do it for you, buddy.
-
That isn’t at all what I meant. Now I know why you used a YouTube video instead of speaking for yourself. I suppose you just aren’t mentally capable.
-
Ouch. That hurts. You cut me deep.
