Anybody else watch these?
It's fun to see musicians in these small, intimate settings.

I've seen a ton of them. My favorite of all time still has to be Dan Deacon's tough. He does an amazing job of interacting with the crowd and making sure everyone is legitimately having a fun time. I watch it whenever I'm feeling down.

Bearbeitet von Upperclass Bum: 1/23/2018 5:14:14 AMI -blam!-ing love that series and NPR in general. Still waiting to see Chon, TTNG, Monobody, Animals As Leaders (or TRAM or Mestís) Blue in Green, Bonobo, TV on the Radio, Kamasi Washington, Tigran Hamasyan, The Gaslamp Killer and many others on there. Assuming foreign artists and bands can come on, The Seatbelts, Potato, The Pillows, Maaya Sakamoto.

I really like these, as well. My NPR affiliate also broadcasts Mountain Stage live every week and it's always good.

Bearbeitet von The Cellar Door: 1/23/2018 5:06:34 AMI love these things man. Not only is it really cool to see artists you enjoy playing in such an interesting setting, but they’ve also put me on to some amazing artists. I literally listened to Christian Scott’s entire discography after seeing this. Anderson .Paak’s is probably my all-time favorite. I also loved The Cranberries’ and The Pixies’. Super nostalgic. Gucci Mane’s was great too just because it showcased just how talented Zaytoven is as a producer, and how in-sync him and Gucci are after years of working together. A lot of people can say what they want about Gucci Mane, but it’s undeniable that him and Zay have a great artistic relationship and that Zay is super talented. I also think it’s cool how it’s, like, a thing now. Tyler the Creator and Chance The Rapper both attempted to do something different just because they were on the show.

Yeah. It was cool seeing the Cranberries perform, and Son Lux’s Tiny Desk concert was neat too.
