I am just getting really sick and tired of this. Bungie still hasn't responded. I want a refund, the game flat out doesn't work. Worst of all, it doesn't even seem as if Bungie cares.

Yup. And no real customer support from Bungie either on this matter. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/242107979?sort=0&page=0 Seems an unrecognized issue.

For anyone that plays on 144 FPS try lowering it to 60 FPS from the NVIDIA control panel. I guarantee you it will stop the crashes. I know it’s hard going from 144 to 60 FPS but this is the only way to play the game without any crashes. My specs are i7700k gtx 1080ti 2560x1440p.

Ok, I have said this on a bunch of threads and maybe you should check them. Part of the problem is on Bungie's end yes, but a good chunk of this is actually on Microsoft's end. The problem lies in the Creator Update (1709) and the latest security patch that followed. The newest updates are playing havoc with DirectX and are not allowing it to fully sync into the video card drivers. That is creating all kinds of problems including a nasty memory hole. You can resolve this by frequently stopping play and rebooting the game but face it, that's not very viable. The problem is exacerbated by Destiny 2 being a hybrid P2P game. So the problem here is that it takes quite a bit of work on both sides to resolve this problem. It affects not only Destiny 2, but several other games and software (MSI Afterburner, ASUS AI Suite, etc.). There is little that can be fixed rapidly because Bungie could fix their problem but if Microsoft doesn't fix their problem, it will create a bigger mess than we already have. They are aware of it, as are many other game developers, and it is being worked on but all are at the mercy of Redmond at this point.

Bearbeitet von Eternal Nepatuna: 1/16/2018 10:19:24 PMBefore the update today I averaged 90 FPS on highest settings with a 96% Resolution Scale with my 970. After the update using the same settings I average 15 fps. tf happened? I am running a 7th gen Intel 6700 base with standard settings for my GTX 970 I am using the windowed mode but set to fullscreen on my 42 inch tv which its max res is 1080p

I still experience tons of FPS drop and stuttering that gets worse over time. Been making post about this since day 1 and Bungie doesn't seem to care.
