Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue cause it's happened multiple times since Destiny 2 launched. I've had this game preordered since it was able to be preordered, so I'm an avid and regular destiny player.
When I try to launch D2 it says "not ready yet. destiny 2 needs to finish installing or show 'ready to start' before you can launch it (0x80270300)"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, which typically fixes this error, however it still happens randomly, sometimes weeks, or a month later, still comes back. I have hard resetted my xbox, I also removed my account and put it back on, refreshed my cache and nothing seems to fix it.
I contacted xbox support, they told me to speak with Bungie, since all my other xbox games a just fine. and since bungie does not have a direct support contact, I am hoping to get an answer here.
If you have any resolutions or anyway to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Since me having to uninstall and reinstall and having to wait hours for that to finish just to play the game is daunting.

Bearbeitet von ADragonWithin: 1/13/2018 5:55:29 PMPlease uninstall Destiny 2, then after it's uninstalled, clear your cache by unplugging the console from the power for 30ish seconds (a minute would be better and good to go, but 30 seconds should be fine). While it's still uninstalled, please install another large game, THEN install Destiny 2. You can remove the larger game you installed after Destiny 2 is reinstalled. This way, you insure that Destiny 2 isn't installed right back on the same spot of the hard drive where it was installed previously. What you're describing sounds like an installation or update issue, and if you've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail, then the next step would be to try to install it to a different spot on the hard drive; it's possible your hard drive might be having issues, and when you uninstall the game then reinstall it, it writes it right back to the same sectors of the hard drive, some of which might be bad, thus leading to the same exact issue.
