Anyone else feel like tess should be killed off? I miss propper progression ,bungies idea for tess is hurting the game and rewards should be in loot pools for certain creatures or tasks not from a store it's pathetic that there are nothing worth buying with in game currency ie ghosts, sparrows, ships and even shaders anything good is chance it's just lazy ,
Kill tess and the eververse , I understand it makes you money now but who will buy Destiny3 if you keep making bad decisions
It's time to win some of us back even if it costs you the eververse
EDIT: just told a friend to wait to get destiny 2 until they fix this system or Sept when he can buy the new version taken queen or whatever with all the current content and no extra dlc price
EDIT: 2 Just made a poll with basic choices PLEASE VOTE

"Ok, how can we better lie to you, to maximize profits, with minimum efforts, while making you feel, you are not being suckered at our every corner turned?" #Cancervision. 🙄

How many times must I comment that we DON'T need to get rid of Eververse entirely? Just the removal of PAID loot boxes (Engrams). We should have a system to buy WHAT we want WHEN we want it. Example: I want the Down To Business ornament for Sweet Business, I should just be able to hover over it, Press X, A or Left Click and buy it. No bright engrams, no RNG, no fuss. (provided I have the silver.) We can also keep Bright Engrams available as level up rewards. But ONLY as level up rewards! The weekly Bright Dust Items can ALSO be kept. There is no reason to remove those.

My biggest issue with Eververse and many AAA games today is that customization has become so taboo. Dev: "Oh you want these colors/camo?" Player: "Yea thats my favorite style." Dev: "Do you like slot machines?" Player: "No, why?" Dev: "Ah, that's a shame. You can only get those colors/camo through RNG." Player: "..." How does Bungie go from Halo Reach where you can get any armor piece and accessory by playing the game and earning credits, to Destiny 2 where many shaders and cosmetics are behind loot boxes. Even in D1 you can buy shaders from that lady in the tower.

This is a stupid dumb argument that everyone makes just because some YouTuber told them to. We should be more focused on getting random rolls back. I have no problem buying stuff from eververse because I have a job and budget my finances properly so I have fun money to spend on micro transactions. It's not ruining the game. However static rolls has ruined the game. Screw the pvp crowd and their cries for pvp balance, the crucible is going to be boring either way because they won't add fun game modes.

If she can survive an attack by Gary, whilst our vaults perished, tossing her from the tower will do no good.
-
Remember when she vanished from the Tower for almost a year? I had always secretly hoped she had died out there (before even the whole Eververse thing was a thing) just to add some more depth to the game.

Bearbeitet von Majestic12: 12/14/2017 6:08:45 PMIam not bothered by Tess everess, She sells ‘dance moves, sparrows, ships, ect....’ if people want to give them money for those things who cares. If she sold a token that let us change our character appearance without starting the game over that would be helpful to all

Remember when that was just the kiosk where your pre-order bonuses and code-redeemed items were? I miss those days.
-
No. They need to make Eververse items purchasable with in game currency and XP, and get rid of the microtransactions. The Microtransactions are the only bad thing about Eververse.
-
They would make more money if they just focused on making a good game and good updates.
-
Imagine, a world where you can earn cosmetics as drops from doing strikes. What a crazy world that would be.
-
"Win some of us back"....you are playing the expansion. I've never bought silver and have over 7000 dust saved up. Now there is an item the give me an engram per strike. This system offer zero in game advantage... I just don't see what the issue is.
-
The problem is the locked the coolest looking armor sets behind the microtransaction.

For Bungie: Please Fix Cabbage!!

Micro transaction help cover the cost of running a live game! but i agree it needs replacing i'd rather have some form of optional subscription not only would it bring in more money if done right, that money could be used for better game of life changes (dedicated servers) and all the content locked away behind tess could be used to create some form of achievement system or add more depth to other activitys.

Progression? I assume you mean rewards like Sparrows, ghosts and ships? Cause nothing sucked more than getting a Ghost from a Nightfall. The current system rewards you with a bright engram. Turn that in for your RNG reward. Litteraly no different other than going to Tess vs Rahul. Also everything you can purchase does and will drop if you just play. Over 6,000 bright dust and never bought any silver in D2. Time for this nonsense to go to bed already.

Eververse is all cosmetic, you don’t want to spend money then don’t spend the money. Easy as that. Want to drive an awesome corvette, it’s going to cost you but you will look awesome while driving.
-
No. But a lot of her stock needs to come out and be rewards for targeted grinds so that there is a more healthy and balanced array of end-game incentives/rewards. The current system is too inclusive for some players tastes.
-
Yes, please kill Tess and bring the ships and sparrows back to Amanda Holliday where they belong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPyBNRANMI4
-
Exile Tess. Then next September's big update can be about her exploits as an exiled Guardian and we can bring her back.
-
But Tess only sells cosmetics for players who want to go the extra mile and pay . (Premium items ). Tess has nothing to do with progression ...
-
The worst part is nothing she has is worth having. It doesn’t empower you, grow your character, or in any way impact play. It’s 100% cosmetic. So here you go... a perfect storm of events that have made endgame irrelevant. Powerful weapons and gear cannot exist or they upset PvP balance. They are removed from game. But now what can we grind for? Oh, shaders and emblems, which Eververse can sell because they are cosmetics, technically getting around “pay-to-win”. Except... if cosmetics ARE what you win when you play, selling them IS pay-to-win. Eververse is an insidious evil, worse than most people realize. The game is being redesigned to funnel us through there, one way or another.

#Cancer to Activision. Period. And a lot of lube for Bungie. And soft pillows. They need it. Have not seen bigger w*ores.
