If there's one thing I hate, it is when games waste my time, in the case of the raid. The time waster is, for the most part, collecting heavy ammo. It has nothing to do with how well you're fighting, and its possible to do runs just for heavy ammo, then wipe/reset. My suggestion, is that when you wipe and respawn, you get full super and ammo, as if you grabbed a public event banner. Collecting ammo before the fight, shouldn't be part of the gameplay here. This is more of an issue in the prestige raid, where ammo seems to drop less, and starting a match full is important. Its easy to get heavy on your way through the underbelly, but between attempts, in some areas it isn't as easy. So you have to do ammo runs, which are nothing but a waste of our time. It doesn't add enjoyment value, it doesn't add difficulty, its not a fun activity, its just a time-sink. I see two potential issues that may come up, with two types of playthroughs: 1. First In the World: If we want the initial difficulty to be harder, and force the first teams to be very careful with their heavy with a bigger death penalty, this can be turned off for the first day. 2. Hardcore (no death) Clears: This isn't an issue, as you only get the refresh on death. If you want more people to do the raid, this will get some. It takes away an annoyance, and annoyances are what drive casual players away from activities, especially annoyances that waste their time (as they by definition, don't have a ton of time for games). We're still going to be doing ammo runs and making sure we start the match full. Why not just start us there in the first place? Or, you could bring back ammo synthesis.
