Bungie the game is still unplayable 2 + weeks after launch due to stuttering and bad FPS

If you anyone is having issues with stuttering or bad FPS please go watch the video I posted in there and let me know if this is the same issue you are experiencing.
CPU: i7-4790k OC'd to 4.6Ghz
GPU: GTX 1080 TI
Ram: 16gb
OS: Windows 10 version 1709 build 16299.19
GPU driver: 388.00
Monitor: 1920x1080 @ 144hz with gsync
And the game is installed on an SSD

Cmon Bungie 2+ weeks of the game being broken is beyond unacceptable for a $120 game, no matter what activity I do I get performance degradation and stuttering. The game is unplayable in this state. I've tried dozens of things to fix it on my end and not a single thing has worked. Both your patches have done nothing but make the issue worse. At least tell us that you people are working on solving this issue.

I close the app restart and everything is ok , i'm updating drivers today and will see how it goes. PC Specs : i7 4770k , Ram 16gb , X-Fire r9 270x and a 250gb ssd. Anyone figure this problem out yet , seems bungie's update didn't work for me . Like i said i am updating my drivers and will update soon. Update : Driver update didn't help. Can't even explore titan for too long because the frames drop like crazy . Might just keep playing on xbox

Also have my graphics maxed to the shit.

Most settings are on ultra high or high, shadows and a few things i have on medium. It stays 60fps pretty steady with gsync on. On very wide open maps it dips but that's because I have the load distance maxed and should probably drop it quite a bit. The only micro stutter I get really is in the menus oddly. Is it something with the 1080 line? I haven't noticed any micro really. The game is legit silky smooth.

Bearbeitet von viperdemonz: 11/10/2017 10:38:37 PMhave same CPU but non K a gtx 970 and 16GB ram on win 10 40 plus FPS with highest settings. that is res at highest 3440X1440 and everything else max drop it down to 1920X1080 everything else max 60 steady. no SSD vwaste of time. no stuttering.

I dunno what Bungie did (or why) but the game does not like OC’d video cards for some odd reason I’ve learned. If I OC my video card the game crashes within 5mins. If I leave it stock (which honestly runs the game great) the game never crashes. My only other issue besides that was the mouse keybinding issue, which I’ll try nodding that xml file tonight to see if it fixes it. But yeah it’s been running great for me. My specs below. I’m running at 3440x1440 and get high 90’s/low 100’s for FPS while playing with everything maxed. And max 200fps on the ship/space loading screens. 4790k @ 4.7Ghz 32GB 2133mhz ram EVGA 1080ti Hybrid (stock) Acer X34 ultrawide gsync monitor (3440x1440 @100hz) Win 10 Creators update (w/latest updates) Nvidia 388 drivers

Some kind of networking or game stuttering has been my issue for the past 2 weeks, game was running fine until I got to a later mission NPC's would stop reacting to me and would respond after killing them. What kills me is I go to the Bungie HELP forums to see if someone from Bungie would shine some light on this situation and I get no response. Here is what is interesting, I have a second computer at my house so I tried playing it on that computer and it ran fine with no problems but that is not my gaming pc. People will tell you its your network but that is a lazy ass answer and they are wrong. I play tons of Overwatch and many other game and I run them at 16-20 ping with no network issues. I can play the game on a different pc in my house using the same network. I checked Nvidia drivers, uninstalling-reinstalling, cleared the cache files ect... I believe this is a Bungie issue that NEEDS LOOKING AT! Lets hope we get answers! Watch the video if you want to see what I am dealing with. Its unplayable. =(

1 AntwortenBump. My PC normally runs the game fine at 70+ fps, but at random points will just drop to >30 even during crucible when there's not a lot of hardware intensive stuff happening. None of my other multiplayer games have this problem, so it must be something with the game. (Just to appear less salty I am still enjoying the game, but this is a much needed technical fix)

2 Antwortenyou may want to record a demo of the issue to see what kind of stutters you're experiencing. the hitching was fixed for alot of people with 1.0.6.2 but possibly some hardware configs still suffer from it.
