Honestly been a Bungie fanboy since Halo Combat evolved... not anymore
If they make it right I'd be happy to forgive them, they made me miss one raid, no biggie... If it gets fixed. If not, I'll be quite pissed. Also, an appeals process and better moderation for banning would be in order (ie, spectate who you're banning, before you hand out the ban?)
Doesn't seem they will be making it right... It's seems they care nothing about the fact they lost me a loyal fanboy and my 4 friends whom I convinced to buy Destiny 2.
In fairness, you had no way of knowing. The beta was fun, the game was a good port, just completely dropped the ball in the anticheat CATCHING PEOPLE WHO AREN'T CHEATING, BUNGIE. No luck so far in getting a response from literally any employee, and of course Battlenet employees don't want to hear about this shit. Sent the story to media, hopefully they'll pick it up and run with it, someone else got it on VentureBeat. Like I said before, if they hand reviewed, I wouldn't have been caught up in this, as they'd be able to see I'm not cheating. If it's software based, -blam!-'s sake, at least make sure it's injecting or targeting the program in question. I'd be happy to work with them to help sort out the false positives, but apparently they give no -blam!-s and just presume guilt. I understand everything they're doing, except the comms brick wall. That's extremely bad practice. Presuming your people or algorithms never make a mistake is a fatal flaw.
