Ammo synthesis were things in Destiny 1 were if you activate it it would give you full ammo for your equiped energy/primary or heavy weapon, you would have it were Gunsmith would sell Special (i think) and primary ammo synthesis but Xur would sell Special and heavy.
Running out of ammo in Destiny 2 is a pain in the ass especially when doing the raid, and I feel like bringing back ammo synths would be amazing, tell me what you think.
cmon bungie pls
destiny 2 should be destiny 1.5 :/

ok fair enough

7 AntwortenI don’t tend to run out of both kinetic and energy ammo at the same time but sometimes find myself out of one or the other. I don’t raid tho’. I guess if I did and I ran out of ammo entirely then I’d be wishing that ammo synths were still a thing... Out of interest, how would reintroducing ammo synths hurt or otherwise negatively impact the gameplay of those who don’t wish to see it return? Don’t want : don’t buy.

You know your screwed when you have absolutely no ammo, no grenade, special melee, super, and special ability, and no synthesis’.so yes, I agree with you.
stop
How about we do not do that and just buff ammo reserves? Because punching enemies not only gets you ammo, but saves what ammo you have? ;D

1 Antworteni agree they should bring it back

Ok, this has been driving me crazy for seven movies now, and I know you're going to roll your eyes, but hear me out: Harry Potter should have carried a 1911. Here's why: Think about how quickly the entire WWWIII (Wizarding-World War III) would have ended if all of the good guys had simply armed up with good ol' American hot lead. Basilisk? Let's see how tough it is when you shoot it with a .470 Nitro Express. Worried about its Medusa-gaze? Wear night vision goggles. The image is light-amplified and re-transmitted to your eyes. You aren't looking at it--you're looking at a picture of it. Imagine how epic the first movie would be if Harry had put a breeching charge on the bathroom wall, flash-banged the hole, and then went in wearing NVGs and a Kevlar-weave stab-vest, carrying a SPAS-12. And have you noticed that only Europe seems to a problem with Deatheaters? Maybe it's because Americans have spent the last 200 years shooting deer, playing GTA: Vice City, and keeping an eye out for black helicopters over their compounds. Meanwhile, Brits have been cutting their steaks with spoons. Remember: gun-control means that Voldemort wins. God made wizards and God made muggles, but Samuel Colt made them equal. Now I know what you're going to say: "But a wizard could just disarm someone with a gun!" Yeah, well they can also disarm someone with a wand (as they do many times throughout the books/movies). But which is faster: saying a spell or pulling a trigger? Avada Kedavra, meet Avtomat Kalashnikova. Imagine Harry out in the woods, wearing his invisibility cloak, carrying a .50bmg Barrett, turning Deatheaters into pink mist, scratching a lightning bolt into his rifle stock for each kill. I don't think Madam Pomfrey has any spells that can scrape your brains off of the trees and put you back together after something like that. Voldemort's wand may be 13.5 inches with a Phoenix-feather core, but Harry's would be 0.50 inches with a tungsten core. Let's see Voldy wave his at 3,000 feet per second. Better hope you have some Essence of Dittany for that sucking chest wound. I can see it now...Voldemort roaring with evil laughter and boasting to Harry that he can't be killed, since he is protected by seven Horcruxes, only to have Harry give a crooked grin, flick his cigarette butt away, and deliver what would easily be the best one-liner in the entire series: "Well then I guess it's a good thing my 1911 holds 7+1." And that is why Harry Potter should have carried a 1911

I am not sure we need that, you have very strong melee attack (infinite ammo...) and a super, that will reward you with plenty ammo drops. even dogs drop ammo... so, not sure we need them.
-
They just need to remove the built in juggler modifier crap and increase drop rates for kinetic and energy

5 AntwortenWhat if the only thing ammo synths bring is simply more bullet sponge encounters?
-
How about a dicktionary instead?
-
Syntheses*
-
Why not share ammo with people using the same weapon type?
-
Dear god , no.

I would rather have the ability to somehow take Kinetic ammo and convert it into Elemental ammo (at a reduced rate of return) and vice versa. We should also be able to generate our own power ammo by slaying enemies in general instead of hoping it drops from Majors.

2 Antworten
destiny 2 should be destiny 1.5
Destiny 2 should be Destiny 2!!! It IS Destiny 1.5.

1 AntwortenIn D1 I never ran out of ammo. In D2, I run out of ammo in practically all engagements.

-
No that's dumb. Why would you want things that take up inventory space that you can use once every 5 minutes? Like they could literally just increase ammo drops. I really don't get this.

Bearbeitet von GOAT Spartan: 10/29/2017 3:39:16 PMIsnt it funny how bungie did that? A looter shooter that has a ton of fighting, yet barely any ammo actually drops when ammo synth’s arent in the game anymore? -blam!-ing stupid
-
2 AntwortenYes. Many places in the raid, (Specifically baths) almost require you to have heavy ammo. If you use a pulse nade and empty your entire primary you should be able to kill the bathers without heavy.. But hunters dont have pulse nades.. so they NEED heavy. Needing heavy and not having a guaranteed way to easily obtain it is stupid.
-
1 AntwortenNope. Drops are fine. Waiting for cooldown timers was a waste of time.
-
2 AntwortenI was never really fond of synthesis. I guess its because Atheon would always get grumpy when he got defeated. But then again this Calus guy sounds like a real dick.
-
This is a good idea. The game isn't a tactical sneaker where you should have to worry about ammo that much.

7 AntwortenSynths would solve so many issues in this game
