Hello, I am heavily interested in Destiny 2 but I have some concerns that I hoped some more avid fans of the first game/those who participated in the D2 beta could appease. Sniping always was a very appealing aspect of destiny for me and I really wanted to use sniper rifles as my main weapon for PvP. I heard that sniper rifles got moved to the heavy weapon category and from what I've read, ammo for that specific category is sparse. Will this make sniper rifles as a main weapon in PvP obsolete? P.S. I was also wondering which class/subclass would be best suited for sniping. Thank you all and any feedback (facts, opinion, speculation, etc.) is appreciated. Edit: Seems like most people in this game have a bad taste in their mouths when it comes to snipers. I didn't realize that it was such a toxic topic as I have NOT played much of destiny 1 and I also don't know anything about it besides general info I've read up on the second game.
