Nope. They like hyper moderated vacuums where they only hear praise. Say anything remotely negative about the game and watch it get mass downvoted or removed. Hell the original cries for a voiced protag was from reddit and since luke smith confirmed it wasnt happening it's fallen off completely over there.
Now honestly #feedback and #destiny are the same board now. I understand why they're different boards but they've basically merged into one. When D2 comes out we'll need actual moderation to move threads around and honestly we need a bigger moderation staff over here to combat some of the less inspired shitposting.
But I enjoy the rawness of the bnet forms. I have since it was the H3/Reach forums and we were all bitching about the Battle Rifle Spread and Armor Lock (times were simpler then). End of the day million dollar video game companies backed by bigger million dollar video game conglomerates dont need defending. They'll be fine if they get negative feedback and negative feedback is what matters anyways.
If you only make threads like "thank you bungie I love the combat and feel of this game" and ignore issues then you'll never get them fixed. I'd still be running around in circles picking up spinmetal trying to upgrade one piece of gear if it weren't for the immense amount of feedback that material farming was somehow more tedious than woodcutting in runescape. And yeah some of that comes in the form of "-blam!- you bungo fix the game" but not everyone is able to sit down and carve out multi paragraph forum posts.
Tbh on an individual level no single post/thread here matters, cozmo only reports on general trends so I guess in a way shitposting here is actually quite effective.
not everyone is able to sit down and carve out multi paragraph forum posts.
Well they can, but people tend to give you the TLDR speech, or get on you for writing a novel..
