Say this video, and thought it would be interesting to see how people react to a topic like this. It does sound crazy, but after seeing the whole thing, it does make a lot of sense and could solve some of the really old, plaguing problems Destiny has had since the beginning.

I think the crucible has its place but what has hurt Destiny is the push for PVP to become an ultra-competitive experience (E-Sport). PVP was actually fun and dynamic in Y1, even though it was faster paced. It offered something that was WAY different from Halo. But now, the game is being completely redesigned to push competitive PVP play into the forefront, and it is taking away things that made the game fun, from diverse and varying supers, powerful loadouts, powerful weapons, etc. It's just dumb IMO. They COULD push competitive PVP without having to take away all that stuff, but they need to separate the two - something they simply refuse to do. Since they clearly side with the PVPers, and they clearly don't want to separate the game, they should market this game as a cooperative FPS rather than a loot-based shooter. You can't have a REAL loot-based shooter when all the loot is mediocre and makes no difference.
