So D2 is basically the same as D1. Cabal and Hive. How original.

Like stuff other than pain? If they do, do you think they can give me a triple cheese burger with no onions and extra pickles, ketchup and mustard?...I'm really hungry.
Sorry I couldn't resist. Forgive me father
Bearbeitet von epicBearcatfan: 6/9/2017 7:07:10 PMIt's a sequel, of course it's going to have the same enemy races. What did you want? A game with nothing in common with the original? A sequel expands on the story, or lack thereof, from the game before it. Since we were still fighting these enemies in D1, and didn't kill all the old races, they will be in D2.
Bad B8 M8
Let's see. We killed their Gods and Kings. Like they would come back for more. Not.
-
They come back because they want Oryx's throne, his taken powers that we left behind.
-
I took them. Sorry. I am there god. I told them to scram.

Cough cough Nokris cough cough
-
I see your point, but there could be other high ranking Hive out there. Those who want revenge for killing their leadership. They might know we lost our light, and take it as an opportunity to strike. Or something along those lines.
-
Yup only reason it's a sequel is because of the new engine causing old characters to be left behind. If it was the same engine it would probably me an ultra mega expansion bigger than TTK.
-
Not. It only supports 4 v4. Still peer to peer. New engine. Yeah right. See COD.

Don't be like BegFourMercy kids, be smart instead. Elites, brutes, jackals and grunts we're in all the halo games, the multiplayer was ever so slightly different between the games, besides new guns, do you see my point? Or perhaps you're too young to remember halo?
-
This is not Halo. Otherwise it would have been successful.
-
-
Halo 5 begs to differ with that statement
-
It's better than Destiny pvp.
-
We hardly did anything with cabal in destiny... Plus there's only 4 1/2 enemy races. Of course we're going to see the same groups. That's like complaining about seeing elites in a halo game...
-
If this is D1 then fine. They had to make D2. Be original then.. D1 was to be 10 years.
-
D1 was never going to be 10 years. They said the franchise would be.
-
Uhhhhhh the franchise was 10 years. D1 barely lasted 3 years with aging technology. D2 gives Bungie a chance to create a new slate with the universe they created.
-
Believe the preaching. Sheep. The will transfer everything but your guns and characters. 10 year journey stopped at 2 years and 1 month. That's all roi was 1 month of content.

Bearbeitet von oricksandcroat: 6/9/2017 6:07:24 PMFor a tryhard yeah. But that's like the 5 percent compared to the casual population that still have things to do. Do you know anything about game/franchise development? It's a whole lot more than slapping a 2 on a new game and calling it a fresh start. Bungie's been in this business longer than I've been alive, and they know what they're doing. I'm in that 5 percent that raids often and grinds to that 400 mark and I know that what we want doesn't reflect what the majority wants. Seems fair to me that everyone should start over regardless of if they played D1, it'll bring in a lot of new players and make even more feel welcomed into the community. Destiny isn't a game that's defined by the content, but rather what we do with that content. Is more content good? Absolutely. But there's a whole lot more underneath that when it comes to experience. There's mo greater joy in life than setting a goal and reaching it, especially when aided by some great people you meet along the way. I remember my friends list hovered around 10 before I played Destiny, and now I'm at about 300 and a lot of those people I got to know about and made goood friends with them. Heck I own a clan now and we're essentially family. TLDR Destiny is about the experience, either solo or social.
