Speed is not a good measure of connection quality, its just how much data it can handle at once. Destiny uses less that 1mbps so your other 149 is just free space.
Your Ping and loss, those tests are to a nice, local server and will be very different to the pings and PL you'll get against other players over the world.
Those tests may come in great but there are a multitude of reasons why you're having problems. You need to look for stability and consistency tests online, doesn't matter if you have 150mbps if your connection drops every few minutes.
Talk to your ISP about it, get them to run their own tests and ask for an engineer to come check your wiring. And don't use Wifi!
Do you have telephone cables above ground? Coming from pylons to your roof? Probably old, cracked copper cables. Connection will be fine until the wind blows.
Or do you live in the country? Far away from your exchange?
What router do you have? Have you tried UPnP, Portforwarding or DMZing?
Give me some details and I'll try to help.

Bearbeitet von Stari: 5/24/2017 10:07:30 PMThank you very much for your response. I live i The Netherlands, where we have one of the best internets in the world. Have had people from my ISP to my house, TWICE. They measured the packet loss, which is 0. They also measured the wires from my house to the box, where the internet comes in for 12 houses in my street. It's 10 meters from my house. All the wires and the signal were good. Have had 4-5 different modem/ routers in the last 3 years. I even broke one on purpouse just to get the newest one :) My PS4 is connected directly to my modem/ router with a 5 meter Cat6 cable. So my internet setup should be perfect. I have been struggling with P2P FPS since 2006 (CoD4 and Halo). I've had the same problems with all CoD's, but much less. In all CoD's my k/d is above 2 and i'm a rusher. In Cod i simply left the match and in 20 seconds i was in a new one. In Destiny this takes much longer, so i don't do it often. But Destiny is unbelievable.....sometimes i may play "normally" for a couple of days, sometimes only for a couple of hours. Sometimes Destiny's PvP is almost unplayable for me. (and many of my real life friends) It's like somebody turned a button and suddenly my bullets don't register and i see the enemies appear much too late on my screen. And i have so much experience with FPS, that i know when i'm being outplayed or when i simply don't stand a chance because the game won't let me. P2P is bad for many ISP's somehow. I know that a cable ISP is very bad for P2P FPS. And i know that DSL ISP's are much beter for P2P FPS. Also i have had Fiber Optics and it was not good. And i have been at some friend's houses and i have noticed that friends which live in appartements (flats) have less of such problems. After asking aroud a lot, i have come to the conlusion that DSL connection is the best for P2P. But in Destiny's case it's Bungie's fault. If it isn't then why my weapons do normal damage one match and the other match i shoot with a water pistol? In Trials i have noticed that the most k/d 2+ players are invincible. It's like they are a second earlier with everything. You see them and you don't even have time to pull the trigger. Or when you do see them rush towards you from far away, you shoot the whole mag in them and they don't even take damage. In Destiny there are 2 kinds of players: The ones on the good side of latency and the ones on the bad side of latency. I thousands of matches that i played, there were only a few with no latency. P.S. Sorry for my English, i live in The Netherlands.

You english is pretty good, but use paragraphs to avoid the 'wall of text' effect! Never apologise, you've bothered to learn this much. Cable from a technical standpoint should be better than DSL, but like I said there are so many other factors involved. It sounds like you have a good setup and shouldn't be having any issues, so I'm baffled sorry. The only disadvantage you have is that most Destiny players are in the USA and with Destiny being such a popular game around the world you'll always be playing people miles away. As such you'll always be relying on others' connections, and there are so many ignorant people out there. Have you tried any settings in your router? Such as: UPnP? Portforward? DMZ?

Hi Kemaleon, Yes, i always have Upnp ON, all ports open and have even had my PS4 on DMZ for a while. You really must read this: I also have the possibility to use my neighbour's Wi-Fi. Approximately a year ago there was a period of time, that i could play very good on this connection, even if i only had 72% signal. So i asked two different Dutch friends to do 1vs1 on both connections: my own and my neighbour's wi-fi. We used the same maps for those tests. The first one i played against one friend on my neighbour's connection. I didn't stand a chance and was dead, before i even saw him appear on my screen. It was like he was shooting with a machine gun and his grenades didn't even hit me and i was dead. We also did sniping from the same spots. Every time i was dead, before i saw him. And then i changed my connection and did the same. It was totally different experience. Now i killed him much easier and he almost didn't stand a chance. With the other friend my neighbour's connection was better. In both cases it was all clear when sniping from the same spot. So there is even difference between players from the same small country like The Netherlands. I have called PSN Support in The Netherlands and they told me that the ISP's are on different PSN servers. So probably the whole P2P gameplay experience depends on which PSN (or XBox) server your ISP is, plus connection speed, ping, etc. There is only one solution for better and more fair gameplay: Dedicated Servers.

Bearbeitet von RAIST5150: 5/26/2017 2:47:03 AMSounds like there may be an upstream issue in the routing. Likely a peering exchange point. Such things fall to Tier 3 support to investigate, sometimes referred to as Engineering. They may be able to capture the exception if they monitor your line while you are playing and experiencing problems.

If its fine on your neighbours wifi then its nothing to do with P2P or servers dude, your wiring is faulty. Your ISP may say its not but clearly it is, I've worked with networks for 10+ years and wifi should never be better than hardwired. Talk to them again, take tests using both connections (if your neighbour permits!) and record results. Somewhere you have a major problem and it may only get worse. Do you have a master socket for your internet in the house? Its quite often hidden in a boiler cupboard, under stairs or in the same place the fuse box is. Try plugging into that and trying again. If you get on really well with your neighbour then try hardwired on their connection. Can't say much more my friend, there is a problem there and its not up to Sony, Bungie or Activision to fix. Good luck.
