The issue for that becomes spawn overlapping. Several Guardians can spawn at once, especially those in a fireteam, so ships would be crashing (or more like phasing) through each other as the animations overlap each other. That can be solved by having ships follow a few different tracks and limiting the amount of players allowed to spawn at one time. There's also that there are several different points of entry on maps, meaning that every initial spawn point in a map would need to have their own ship animations. It's a nice quality of life addition i'm sad that got cut, but its absence never particularly bothered me. [spoiler]I do like seeing my ship land in the Tower though.[/spoiler]
