The Chinese and Indians (rags not feathers) are farting us to death
English
-
One is indian The other is native american
-
I'm Indian (feather not dot). I ain't no bitch ass Native American.
-
So. You have ancestry from INDIA but wear a feather? Cool i guess. Otherwise it makes no sense to call yourself indian if your family group did not hail from india.
-
All of these terms are acceptable. The consensus, however, is that whenever possible, Native people prefer to be called by their specific tribal name. In the United States, Native American has been widely used but is falling out of favor with some groups, and the terms American Indian or indigenous American are preferred by many Native people.
Most still prefer you identify them by tribe, if you must invoke their heritage.

If we talked about a specific tribe then i would have specified but in that instance i had no tribe title that would encompass all... but nice to know
