7. Repeat steps 3, 4, 5, and 6 but get an opposite gendered ptera
8. Breed pteras
9. Raise godly little baby ptera with imprints so it gets amazing stats
10. PUMP MELEE DAMAGE

If you dont have a good ptera, you gotta get one. Theyre the most versatile and useful dino in the game imo.
Otherwise, go with a good megaladon for deep sea exploration.
Tapejaras are also neat for when you want to have an agile flyer that can hold more than one rider.

Only better for weight, health, and sometimes stamina. But that spin attack is top notch damage for pteras

Tapes are better than both. Or even better. Quetzes. Did i say that right?

Tapes are only good for fast, multi-person journeys (or a person and a shooter, but other tames do that much better because of the wing getting in the way) and landing on vertical surfaces. Quetzals are good as war or weight tames, like dropping tank turtles into a base, or getting mass amounts of metal with anklyos on a platform saddle. As far as speed and damage, pteras reign supreme.

Once I got my first argentavis I never used my pteras again.
