Which one is your favorite?
-
The all white one is my favorite. I don't use it as much because the switches are really loud, and I type a lot, and fast, so people get annoyed by it. The MX blue switches on it are really satisfying to type on.
-
Are they USB or PS/2?
-
I think all mechanical keyboards are all USB these days. The old school IBM Model M's and such are PS2
-
What's better about mechanical keyboards
-
they're heavier and more expensive, but they use a mechanical switch instead of a rubber dome under the keys. they take less force( about half as much) to actuate the switch, so they can go twice as fast and have much less hand fatigue.
-
Are they better for gaming?
-
yes, provided you have the skill to back it up. if you are a bad/very slow typer, it won't make you better than what your skill level is. practice will make you better.
-
I'm kinda new to PC gaming
-
i'll tell you a secret: USB or wireless dongle gamepads are perfectly fine to use in most newer than 2008 games. wired has less latency than wireless. some games are better than others at handling it, some games have people who will wreck you from constantly practicing.
-
I think my keyboard is just fine. What I really need is a new mouse I have a Dynex mouse that I had for over 6 years now
-
if you're a lefty, you're kinda outta luck. most brands make righty gaming mice. if you're in the market for a new mouse, my go to is the G502. both the core(original/non-RGB) and the spectrum(RGB) are good mice.

I'm right handed. I checked it out and the price is pretty reasonable.
