If the Earth was flat, why is it nighttime in one place and daytime in another?

I'm starting a blog on the subject. Here is my entry regarding your question. http://flatearthandthought.blogspot.com/2016/12/question-how-do-daynight-cycles-and.html Also, this post briefly discusses lunar phases. http://flatearthandthought.blogspot.com/2016/12/question-if-earth-is-flat-how-do-you.html Feel free to ask my questions, here, or on my blog...

Not supporting the theory, but you obviously haven't argued very much about it.

Don't help him in his argument. Let him come up with his own answers.
-
Oh you naive child...
-
Whatever. It's quite obvious now that he himself won't answer me.
-
Of course, why would he bother with a question he's answered an immeasurable amount of times?
-
This is the first time someone has asked him this question that I know of.
-
He made a post on it a while back.
-
This is the first time someone has asked him this question that I know of.
I asked him before but got no reply.
-
I've seen it asked at least twice, not including yourself. Also, if I can just Google your question and disprove it, what would stop him from doing the same?

The video doesn't even showcase the moon.

Ok. But on a flat Earth the Sun and Moon should always be visible except if the Moon was in new Moon phase, like the video suggests. Even if the light produced by them is dim. So why, if I'm on a plane, can I not see the sun when it's dark out?
-
Just saying, I didn't watch the video, just supplied it. My heart isn't in the argument, because I am will to believe whatever affects my life less. I could come up with a shit answer, but OP would be better equipped to argue with you. Pm him if you really want to talk to him.
-
As far as he goes, I couldn't care any less right now about what he thinks. I just wanted to see what argument he would supply my question with.
-
Well, you just asked a question I don't have a good answer for, so perhaps you should ask him.

I don't like you very much

Hm, why?
