3 AntwortenI'm just gonna say this: recently we started having terrible packet loss, signal drops, etc. We pay for the highest speeds we can get here. Like many, I always assumed that was good enough. However, I found out last week that the problem was in fact on my end. I haven't received any restrictions/bans, but I knew that if I continued it would likely happen. We had our ISP come out, spend hours searching for the problem and so on. What we discovered was that our home was producing noise and voltage that fed back up the cable. It was not the ISP's fault. 60 down/5 up should be sufficient, but if there's noise traveling back up the line, it's going to create issues. Hurricane Matthew took down a large tree that fell on our lines. We didn't know at the time, but it affected one of the circuits, and we essentially lost any ground to the receptacles our Xbone, cable, etc were using. That voltage was grounding itself out through the cable. We corrected the problem and now have our trusty signal back. All of this was to say that there may be an underlying problem on your end affecting the signal that your ISP neither knows about nor can even correct. Just a thought...
