There are theories that the earth is not round/spherical. That its actually like a deflated ball, flat spots and very irregular. They actually went as far as to say the pictures in our science books are photoshopped to look spherical. Why do you think?

That makes quite alot of sense And I can prove this too Scientific evidence shows that no planet is speherical but 2 things 1: every planet is on an axis and tilted 2: The earth has been hit so much by meteorites that it has taken on a new shape being slightly ovular (Not by much) The catastrophic event which caused our moon to be born was one of these reasons It broke alot of earth off which eventually formed to create the moon but this kind of damage on a catastrophic scale would surely mess up the structure of the planet too dont you think

A more accepted theory is that early in Earth's life, it collided with another planetesimal which, over a long period of time, the leftover materials accreted to form our Earth, and materials still in orbit coalesced into our moon. I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist.

Ah, I have never heard that theory before It makes sense still but that is new to me
