Just got back from the show at The Glass House in Pomona and it was -blam!-ing amazing. I'm a bit disappointed that Animals as Leaders didn't play Cafo, but it was a superb show regardless. I especially liked how Plini and Intervals were essentially one band - Aaron played rhythm guitar for Plini, Troy Wright was on drums (and was an absolute beast) and Simon from The Helix Nebula on bass (dude has some sexy basses). Then for Intervals, Aaron and Plini swapped roles. Almost cried when they played Epiphany (Plini even played David Maxim Micic's crazy ass solo). I must confess that I'm a bit bias since this was my first show, I'd probably think it was great regardless of whether or not it actually was, but it was honestly an unreal experience - one that almost didn't happen were it not for the kind generosity of one of Plini / Intervals' techs. Easily my best birthday yet. Tl;dr: Went to my first show for my womb eviction anniversary, saw three of my favorite bands (AAL and Intervals were great, but hawt dayum, Plini killed it) and it was good and every synonym of the word.
