Solar ability kills on Gunslinger and Void kills on Defender (Bungie we gotta have a small talk)
So Hunters, how'd you like the Raze lighter quest? Titans, How did the Darkdrinker quest go?
I highly doubt you liked it...unless you like getting kicked between the legs, which if you do then enjoy the Quests!
I just had a friend who just got his Darkdrinker...On his Titan...Let that sink in...Yeah...That's nightmare fuel (No pun intended).
As for me, I've been throwing knives around thinking they were counting towards that Solar ability kills in the Tyra quest for Fotl only to find out that none of the throwing knives counted as a Solar kill. I thought bungie already address this but I just found out that was for Bladedancer, not Gunslinger.
Something has got to change with these subclasses.
[b]Small change to help out Defenders and Gunslinger with out changing much about how they play or how we play against them[/b]
[b]Defender[/b]: Allow kills in bubble or kills with WoL active to count as void kills towards bounties and quests.
[b]Gunslinger[/b]: Allow throwing knife to count as a solar ability kills towards bounties and quest [b](This will NOT add burn damage)[/b]
So what do you think? Yay or Nay?
Edit: Some good fellows reminded me that the Thorn quest allows weapons. I got it mixed up with the Darkdrinker Void ability kills. Anyway I removed the Thorn portion. Thanks :)

I did good on my hunter tbh. I picked arc for Titan to play it safe.

1 AntwortenVenus the shattered Coast. The incediary grenade,golden gun combustion perk works wonders for me. There is an area in the shattered coast that's a pretty popular farming spot in that room which houses some fallen vandels,dregs,and 1 servitor.

12 AntwortenGunslinger tripmine or incendiary for easy multi kills. As well as keyhole and or gg causes enemies to explode. Easy. Defender. Magnetic grenade and melee gets pretty easy kills pretty often. Not every subclass id for crowd control and therefore fast easy multikills. You just have to improvise and be patient. That being said stop nerfing hunters. Nothing was broken. Tripmines should count as a sticky grenade Blink strike should teleport as far as blink does. Its a blink. Seriously.

I'm pretty sure this still works but I haven't done a sword quest since last October. Edit: forgot to mention this, but best mission to do exotic sword quest is siege of the warmind.

I remember doing it some type of empty sword with full super glitch where a kill with the hilt counted. It was harder farming the materials and finding 10 of those stupid things.

1 AntwortenDo kills while Force Barrier is active count as void on a Defender? If so, just do the "We've woken the hive mission" and punch your way to victory. Easy.

For hunter solar, use incendiary nades, gg with acylophage symbiote for an extra shot, and keyhole/combustion

Throwing knives never counted for solar abilities before and I had no problem getting the kills on my hunter for raze lighter

Preety sure my dark drinker was done on a titan. I used spike grenades Its the spinning one eh. I dont remember it being that bad. Punched alot of people and yeah done.

1 AntwortenGo memory of felwinter artifact for bubble bros. I did them all on my Titan at the start of TTK because once u do one on a character u get to skip the first half of the quest on the other swords. It was tedious but not terrible. If you're being conscious about ability kills when collecting the planetary materials, u should be alright. Then go to the dark beyond door or the siege of the warming thrall parade for any remaining ability kills. For gunslingers, do kills count on enemies caught in the blast with the golden gun kills explode targets perk? Either of those mission would be great if they do.

Took me 45 min to do on a Titan with armamentarium on the warmind mission.

1 AntwortenLuckily for me, I did it thru new subclasses type. Nightstalker with the Dark Drinker (sorta did that Shadowshot glitch ONLY thru PvE), did Sunbreaker for the Raze Lighter and Stormcaller for the Bolt Caster. Pretty much followed what the new subclasses' new element xD

Or you can just do those quest on other characters. That's what I did. Sunstrike kill reset for the win.

The Gunslinger's Throwing Knife should deal Solar damage, regardless of the perk. Incendiary Knife's effect should be changed to something like "precision kills cause the enemy to explode; enemies damaged by the explosion are Ignited" or "Throwing Knives stick to enemies and produce a small explosion on precision hit." While under the effects of Weapons of Light, the Defender and allies' primary Kinetic damage weapons should deal Void damage, and count as Void kills. Any weapon kills by the Defender while under the effects of Weapons of Light should count as Super kills, and produce Orbs of Light.

("Live, Die, Repeat") - Load up first Moon story mission - Wake the hive - Incendiary/Magnetic/Suppressor 'nade - Use weapon with Grenadier perk - Grenade again - Die - Repeat Make sure to use any Exotics/Artifacts to give you more grenades. Yeah, it can get tedious, but if you've played Destiny for ANY reasonable length of time, you already know it's all about the grind.

Combustion, double trip mines, double burning throwing knives, if you want to tryhard go play pve that has catapult on, grenade every 12 seconds, put on the frost legs and sprint they take off 50% of the cooldown so with catapult and frost legs you get a grenade every 6 seconds. Cant find catapult modifier? Go play level 35, 34, 32 prison of elders, they have atleast one round with catapult, then just wipe before the end of the round. Oh and also if you do those in crucible and not in PvE you get them atleast 5x faster.

Those are my favorite pvp class for each class, the raze lighter wasn't hard at all on Hunter

1 AntwortenLoad the Omnigul Rasputin mission. Equip Monte Carlo and that one melee helmet. Kill all enemies. Get to Thrall part. Throw down a Void Spike Grenade. Use melee. Kill with Monte Carlo until another melee charge. Die once all are dead. Repeat

Titan get the chest piece. Do two grenade kills. Pop a bubble and repeat. Get your dis to 300. Also farm some glimmer in the mean time.
