Odd that people would ddos in rift. If anything it could be the servers but that's not normal. If anything do not reveal the names unless asked by officials. If you reveal the names you would be breaking the terms is service.

Bearbeitet von klymatyk: 10/17/2016 6:07:00 AMI know, but it happened so suddenly it was ridiculous. My connection is running on 20 download 3 upload, and every match nobody has been laggy for me(except red bars), and I've been green bar the entire time. I was green bar when I got kicked. And I haven't lagged once, although I did wreck this guy whose connection kept fluctuating. He was using a last word, so that's who me and my mates believe may have done it. He had been there for all three matches, the first we mercied because I shot to 8,000 points before heavy dropped. I was just having a good game day I guess, I'm not great.
-
Were you kicked to orbit?
-
But things didn't load. It's like I was actually lagging. Even though I was still a green bar and when I ran my speed it was fine. Nothing changed.
-
Then you were not ddos:sed If you were ddos:sed you would not be able to use your internet connection at all on any of your devices for good few minutes and you would be kicked to the start screen. You wouldn't have been able to run any speed tests at all. You probably got lagged out.( aka the hosting player had a lag spike and it kicked you to orbit and then it had some issues loading the right information) That would be my best quess. That not a good thing ether, but it wasn't necessarily done on purpose. Ether way it's not fun to get kicked
-
So only I, the top player, got kicked, after which my friends lost the match by 8,000 points. That doesn't make sense.
-
Yep, it happens. But you were not ddos:sed atleast. Something other is possible, bit not a ddos

You do have piss poor internet, you know that right?
-
I have 30 download?? It's one of the best Time Warner offers here and I've never lagged or contacted Destiny servers, minus when the servers go down.
-
Ive got 200 to support destiny
-
Well, in my area I have the second fastest internet, I'm moving soon and my new provider offers 150 as their mid-range internet, so I'm stoked for that.
-
When you get to that area, get an internet booster, (like another router) and boost it even more
-
Oh, I have it connected by LAN cable to negate any kind of interference or distance.
