So I've been thinking; my guardian looks awesome. But these exotic boots/chests/arms/helmets will bring me to my A-game.
Except one problem.
They turn me into the freakin' elephant man!
So, how about this, why don't we allow it so that we can equip armor for vanity? You could simply, say, press the right trigger and your whole armor section would change into a vanity armor section. You can equip armor from the section, and it will overlap the armor you're actually wearing. You could be wearing Light Beyond Nemesis but you'll equip Astrocyte Verse in the vanity section. This means Astrocyte Verse will show on your character, not Light Beyond Nemesis.
"Aww crap, I just dismantled these bomb ass legs that I wanted to use for vanity! What now?!"
Don't fret. A new kiosk could exist. A one with all the legendary, rare, uncommon, and even common armors you've ever collected. Even old raid armors.
"Uh, dude? Isn't that a little powerful?"
Nah. Those would be neutered, perkless versions of the armors. They'd be vanity armor--purely cosmetic. The only thing you could do with them is add chroma (if they have that kind of ability.)
What would this do, exactly?
-Allow guardians to wear a full set of spektar/taken/raid/etc armor without any sacrifices.
-Hey, Year One raids will be relevant again for those who haven't played the classics (Crota's End Normal Fresh, must have mic, 240+, vanity run)
-Did you get a new pair of boots with amazing perks but it looks ugly? Don't worry, just put your old armor into the vanity slot and your new armor into the armor slot.
-I can finally wear all my exotic armor at once!
So, there you have it. My little suggestion on vanity armor. If you like this post, give it an upvote and post feedback, that way the devs or the community manager can see it. :)
