Now what will people hate her for most? Being black, a woman, or having an opinion?

How about for dragging a national tragedy that happened less than a generation ago through the mud in the name of "THAT'S RACIST?" She had no place in bringing up race on the 15th anniversary of 2,000 people losing their lives to a terrorist attack that had nothing to do with it, and we reverent few take offense to her blatant ignorance and disrespect. Now get that argument out of here: straw's getting all over the place.
-
I had an argument? I...didn't realize!
-
Yeah, you strawmanned the viewpoint opposing the woman in question. That does count as an argument, because you're devaluing the one you addressed. In other words, you asked a loaded question.
Yeah, you strawmanned the viewpoint opposing the woman in question. That does count as an argument, because you're devaluing the one you addressed. In other words, you asked a loaded question.
I asked, because people here love to blame ignorance almost solely on these factors. I wasn't making an argument at all. People are capable of seeing the real stupidity in her statement, but blame on false things like that to perpetuate their perceived supremacy. But whatever mate-o

Explain why you asked you question all you like, but I call a spade a spade: that's a loaded question with an obvious premise that people aren't taking this person seriously because of her gender or ethnicity.
Explain why you asked you question all you like, but I call a spade a spade: that's a loaded question with an obvious premise that people aren't taking this person seriously because of her gender or ethnicity.
What? No not at all? I'm saying people are misidentifying the cause of ignorance. They'll hate on her for being an ignorant woman or "just another stupid black". When in reality she's just a stupid person, nothing more, nothing less. How have you not grasped that?
-
Can you give me evidence that this is a real issue?
I'll give you a hint: you can't, because it isn't.
Thanks for talking down to me, though: it really shows how objective and non-biased you are.
-
Well for starters, did I ever say I was not biased or objective? Nope. Nor am I trying to be? I don't see why I would particularly try to be here? Secondly, I don't get your angle. You're attacking my post... why? If you've been on the internet a half second you know women and people of different skin colors than the area's majority tend to get it hard. In some cases, people skip the substance and go straight to the hate when someone potentially "confirms" their prejudice. Just look at the "blm bitch piece of shit" comments I'm sure are abound. Are you trying to cover for yourself since your initial assumption I was defending her was wrong? or are you just trolling? Sure she's ignorant, but not because she's a woman or black, which is how a fair few people identify it. Have you been on a Yahoo! comments section before? It's usually just attacks on race, even in non race related articles.

This is the problem with loaded questions like this: you can make a point without directly stating something, and then when someone challenges you, you can hide behind feigning ignorance or false neutrality.
Secondly, I don't get your angle. You're attacking my post... why? In response to your "blm bitch" comment, that really speaks more towards the movement than it does the individual's gender: people involved in the so-called "black lives matter" movement are often ignorant on their topic of argumentation, thus to dismiss someone because they're a member of BLM has become the common discourse among dissenters. Also, it's the Internet: yeah, people are gonna be assholes, and no you can't change it by white knighting. People being dicks on the Internet does not correlate to oppression in the real world, and nobody's gonna listen to what you have to say and take it seriously.
-
So who or what exactly am I white knighting?
-
For being a disrespectful bitch... 9/11 had nothing to do with race
-
How bout the fact that she's -blam!-ing ignorant
-
[insert shrug] The internet likes to blame ignorance on unrelated factors. I was just wondering what it would be this time. Chill mate.
-
I said the word to put emphasis on how dumb she was

Oh, thanks mate
