If he manages to snipe you when getting plucked in the head by MIDA he earned it. It's very difficult to do that, even with Unflinching.

A sniper is a precision weapon, used to pick off enemies or straight up headshot them from a distance. In this instance, he was barely at a distance, managed to aim down his scope [i]after[/i] the second time he was shot, and still line up an instant kill on my part. There are other people saying that I wasn't "strafing" or "didn't throw a grenade first" or whatever, but no matter how I much of this I would've done, there was no real counter for what happened in the video. How was I supposed to anticipate he would pull off a shot like that when in my mind was he was basically done for?

It takes good reflexes and hand eye coordination in order to move the scope onto the head even while getting flinched. The goal of flinching isn't to entirely prevent a sniper from shooting you. The goal is to make it harder to do so, and it is.

  • But it is a little too easy to do so. The flinch of the sniper scope is way too predictable, and any skilled sniper can land shots like this. And yeah, shots like this may take some degree of skill but the ability to do so makes it unfair for other players. For example, if someone gets the drop on a player using a sniper and lands multiple shots, then that sniper should be punished for letting someone get a drop on him. He shouldn't have the chance to dome someone, because he already should've been outplayed. It's very similar in my case. The opponent clearly isn't aiming in his scope until after I shoot him the second time. And after the third, he kills me. The sniper shouldn't of had that opportunity to do so because, as I listed in the example above, he should've been outplayed already for letting me get three precision shots on him. I wouldn't even been complaining about this situation had he already been hard scoping and I walked around the corner and got domed. But I was the one who caught him off guard for a fraction of a second, a fraction of a second that he should've been punished for, only for him to reverse the situation entirely.

  • Snipers are broken medium range-close range weapons when they should be long range I don't stand at a 1 meter distance from a terrorist when he can full on see me when I have a heavy and hard to use beast and be like now it's a feather I can now twirl in the air with it and be able shoot it without any penalties if you get shot and your using this heavy sniper rifle how the -blam!- are you going to cope with the immense pain and pressure it has on your body and considering the power of some primaries your insides would become mash potatoes.......
