Sounds like a damn badass roll to me, throw in dem increased reload gloves+chain of woe and you might as well call your hunter Clint Eastwood.
Though I'm kinda unsure about a fusion+hc combo
They're both good for medium ranges, so you're not really extending your effectiveness and with that kinda setup you wanna keep hitting them precision shots with your amazing primary.
I would either go for a nice sniper, recommending queensbreaker bow here, cause of dat high reserve ammo and high aim assist
Or for a shotgun in case you need to take something out quickly.

I thought that myself on the mid-range, actually. I do have QBB and a couple of decent shotguns I could try. I also wanted to start trying out LoW and Chaperone.
-
The chaperone feels badass but it's kinda unreliable, it relies on a kind of precision that's pretty hard to achieve in the type of situations where you'd pull out your shotgun. So sadly in most situations it's outclassed by legendary shotguns. I personally have had damn good success with the invective, it's range is pretty good and the full auto+final round+self regenerating ammo make it extremely reliable in those situations where you just need some additional firepower.
-
I heard Chaperone had quite a learning curve... I'll give it a shot. (Out of my love for old-style weapons) I haven't used invective in a long time, I should give it a go. That recharging ammo makes it more than viable for those close encounters. Thx for the feedback, man.

If you use the eyesluna effectively, a sniper would be better then a shotgun, but if you prefer getting up close, deffenitly use a shotgun

While I do like shotguns, I need to improve my sniping game, so I have a Weyloran's with partial refund, rifled/reinforced barrel or explosive rounds and unflinching. I also have Stillpiercer and the dead orbit sniper.
-
Stillpiercer is probably best there, but weylorianshas less flinch and is better at first in case you only get assists
-
Thanks. I'll give 'em both a couple rounds and see which I prefer. Not too sure on what qualifies as a good roll for Weyloran's, but the perks on it seemed ok.
-
Well, waylorians already has high aim assist, so im not sure either, but hidden hand always helps some more, and unflinching is great, because it causes less flinch, and with the aim assist, its easier to land your shots
