Are you kidding me? It would have been worse everything obama stands for hurts economies its a polar opposite of reagan. Congress didnt oppose him enough we have shitty obama care. Reagan had a way of speaking to people that i wish cruz had. Reagan took the deep recession(almost depression) of carter and created the biggest boom in american history while simaltaniously crushing the soviet union. Obama crwated the worst recovery since the great depression with a low 2% growth when no president beforw him had less than 4% growth by doing the opposite of reagan. Reagan cut costs on industry by deregulation and lowering taxes and cut the government budget in half. Obama overegulated crushing businesses and spent and print doubling our debt. Obama also made the world more dangerous in many ways

I don't agree...I am better off now than I was under Bush who had 7% mortgage rates...mine is 3% now...my IRA was loosing money, not now...I was paying $4 per gallon here in Cali, now $2.50...unemployment was 10% now 4.5%....the problem is people like you make nothing out of something, but to say you will not support a President who inherited a collapsing economy and needed partisanship like Reagan had and make statements that you will obstruct anything he brings to the floor just to ensure that he becomes a "one term President" as Mitch McConnell did was un-American...the Obama Care system you see now is the watered down version...the original health care proposal was more universal care but Obama was forced to compromise because the Dems did not have 60 votes despite having a majority...my only fault of Obama is that he compromised his first 2 years in an attempt to get everyone to work together as both parties did under Reagan...but they would not...Reagan had much more cooperation from everyone...despite all that he still leaves office on a plus note.

no...people dying or becoming bankrupt because of no healthcare is immoral in the richest country in the world...and if you are referring to Glass/Steigal which allowed banks to use your savings and retirement accounts to invest in anything they wanted which they were prohibited until Clinton signed it in '99, I agree that that was the start of setting up the bank collapse...but I also believed that he signed it because he was forced to because of Monica Lewinsky...just wasn't the same Bill after that.

But millions werent dying without insurance. We have more unensured now because of rates rising and jobs lost as well. Uh dude this only benifited the ensurance companies thats it and single payer is the worst idea ever created and that was the point of this to push us in that direction. Its the law hospitals have to treat you even without insurance. I really dont believe you voted for reagan your views are nothing like his its iether that or you just go wherever direction the wind blows

sure, they have to treat you...then give you a bill which bankrupts you which you can never pay and they will write off, ruin your family life, divorce, then homeless, kids become delinquents and/or criminals...vicious cycle that should not happen in this country...seems like every person in America paying $75 a month is an easy solution I did not vote for him in '80...and have no reason to lie about it...I was more conservative then and worked in law enforcement all my fellow co-workers convinced me...after '84 the Republican party became different and mean spirited and has got worse every year, it is abhorrent now.

again, it would have if congress would have passed it in it's original form before the politicians taking money from the insurance companies attempted kill the bill...paying $800 per pill is gouging...the problem with healthcare is the profiteers have taken over the industry in all phases, what a doctor does or does not is no longer his decision, it's the board of director or insurance company's decision...they rather you die or drop you off at a homeless shelter before they help you...illegals came here because the Republicans made it easier, and they where hiring them in droves for cheap labor with cash under the table (arizona, texas, florida) to build houses in the '90 during the housing boom...boom over, let's get rid of them, build a wall and blame the Democrats...lol
