IOWs. Because my In-your-face-CQC-fusion-grenade-spamming playstyle hasn't been effected, Sunsingers or just fine. Another person who doesn't realize that the game is bigger than they are. People play SSs in other ways. Firebolts are in an important part of playing SS as a MID-RANGE player. They reduce the value of cover for people who like to camp...and they help to finish off opponents who are looking to run away from a losing gun fight with this game's SLOW killing primary weapons. THEN there's the matter of PvE. When this guy misses with his fusion grenade, the fact that it does almost no AoE damage is not a problem. He just keeps up his relentless rush on his oppoenent and switches to his gun. Try that move in the CoEs when dealing with Adds clustered around the boss....and that boss will just use his ground-pound melee attack and insta-kill you. Use firebolts as they are now...and half of the adds it used to kill will simply MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. They'll either jump away before it detonates...or WALK OUT OF RANGE by the time it detonates. Plus AI opponents are programmed to move away from solar grenades, so the are only effective if you throw them at choke points....or you activeate your super and literally PAINT them in the damn things. Bottom line, Bungie weakened significantly what was already one of the weakest sub-classes in the game. Other than coming back from the dead....there's nothing a SS can do now that a Voidwalker or a Stormcaller can't do better. ...and just because someguy with his own YT channel can go flawless in the Trials with a broken subclass doesn't menat it isn't broken.
