I'm legitimately surprised that trip mines are still capable of one hitting guardians at or below 4 armor. The HP differences from 1-4 armor must be almost non existent if a trip mine doing 188 can still one hit you.
Anyways, good video.

The Trip Mine actually does 188 to any armour guardian. It just doesn't kill the ones with high armour. Which i guess implies armour = health? I don't know. Lol. I don't understand their equations.

Bearbeitet von Wheeze: 6/24/2016 1:40:05 PMYeah I rewatched your video and corrected my post to reflect the actual numbers. And, in the past, anyways, armor affects your shield strength. Everyone has the same health pool (I think 105...?), but your shield strength differs based off your armor. In practical terms, armor = HP. This is testing done during the HoW era, so it's probably a little off at this point, but this is still the best explanation I've read regarding what armor actually does, if you're interested.

Will definitely give it a read, thanks man :)

To me, one of the most important takeaways and something probably poorly understood by the community at large is that the numbers we see are either rounded up or down. That might explain some of your discrepancies with Skip grenade damage in your earlier, also informative Bladedancer video.

Yup. It's starting to make a little more sense now.

Thank god for nerds with a lot of time on their hands...
