When you say flat is there a depth to it or is it paper thin
English

Definitely depth. So it is not "flat" in the technical sense of the word. Neither is a piece of paper for that matter. It also has depth.

I know paper isn't 2 dimensional I should have been clearer, aside from that how do plate tectonics work on your flat Earth
-
The flat earth has a molten layer sandwiched between two massive layers of rock. However, I won't pretend to know exactly how tectonics work. The spherists do that. I do know plate tectonics are possible on a flat earth: ever walk out onto a very large frozen lake in winter? If u have, you would see that the ice also forms "plates" which drift into eachother, causing uplift along the points of contact. Lakes are "flat" and yet a simpler and smaller version of tectonics occurs.

That doesn't exactly work, plates are moved by convection. Now, I'm not supporting your theory, but in both cases, flat and sphere, this could work
-
On a round Earth lakes are round not flat, but I do see your point well said
-
Well, I say they are flat. But we are back to the basic argument now... Thanks for civilly debating.

Sure thing
