Battleborn felt like I was playing at 20-30 FPS. Destiny runs at 30 but it feels smooth. Battleborn felt clunky. Would've loved to play the campaign but not spending more than $10 for a dozen missions or less. At this point, I'd rather just wait for Borderlands 3 (and still need to play BL:Pre Sequel). They have similar art styles and play similarly but Borderlands will have a big open areas and plenty of missions.
Overwatch lacks a campaign but will offer free characters and maps. It is also smooth and 60 FPS. Also, there are a good number of options for custom games. Play vs. AI online was a big point for me, personally. I just hope they add some different game modes.
I feel like Overwatch offers the better PvP experience which is clearly the focus of both games.

Battleborn also offer free characters, maps and game modes. Paid dlc is going to be story missions, skins and taunts.

Good stuff. I'd still rather PvP in the much smoother Overwatch. I would give Battleborn another chance but my budget is a little tight and I've got enough games.

Overwatch is the cleaner visual style, but i take gameplay over graphics.

Battleborn feels clunkier to me so Overwatch has the advantage in gameplay (for me).

Idk what exactly about it is clunky. I've played both as well.

No idea, just felt off to me. Played the beta in April so maybe there were performance issues only in the beta? Also, the game felt too Borderlandsy and I'd rather wait for that.

Well it's made by the same studio as borderlands so the style is obviously very similar. Oh well, to each their own .
