So what do you think would help prevent cops from shooting and killing [i]unarmed[/i] people in America? Isn't that what we are talking about? It's too bad that the two sides of this issue see themselves in opposition when finding solutions would help both sides. The title BLM itself shows how separated these communities feel. I'm not sure if division by racial lines is helping or hurting efforts.

Just because they're unarmed doesn't mean they're not dangerous. Michael Brown was unarmed but still charged a cop and withstood being shot multiple times. You don't need a weapon to kill somebody.

All types of situations should be looked at to see if preventing death is possible. Has there been research done that looks at unarmed police shootings, categorizes and measures them?
